Да-да, именно поэтому наши самолёты были неэкономичными, а МГА изо всех сил отпирался от Ту-144. И про Ту-104 тоже много разных мнений было...

Или вы про "там"? Вот у них да, мнение авиакомпании -- руководство к действию.
